The pose was so dynamic I wanted to make the movement obvious and dramatic in the photo. The smoke, dust, and debris were created with different brush tools, then applied a vertical motion blur to it. The model was also duplicated and motion blurred with masking to keep certain parts sharp. The few long black streaks in the image were also created the same way, just a higher setting in the motion blur options.
